On the Colorado plateau in Arizona near the Utah border are some of the world's best slot canyons. Antelope Canyon and Secret Canyon outside of the city of Page are two of the most well known. Created from thousands of years of water and wind erosion on the sandstone, these marvels of nature are most unusual. Flowing patterns of red sandstone and the irregularity of vertical walls create a bounty of photographic opportunities.
